4. Products & Pricing

  • Hardware/appliances: Descriptions, specs, images, and availability are provided in good faith but may contain errors. We reserve the right to correct errors and cancel orders where necessary.
  • Digital products: Delivered instantly or via download link after payment. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal or commercial use as stated on the product page.
  • Prices are in ZAR unless stated otherwise and include VAT where applicable. We may change prices at any time; orders already placed are honoured at the price shown at checkout.

5. Orders & Acceptance

  • Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept your order when we send an order confirmation email.
  • We may refuse or cancel orders for reasons including stock errors, pricing errors, suspected fraud, or breach of these Terms.

6. Payment

We accept payment methods shown at checkout (e.g., card, EFT, PayFast, Yoco, etc.). You warrant that payment details are accurate and you are authorized to use them.

7. Shipping & Delivery (Hardware/Appliances)

  • We ship within South Africa unless stated otherwise.
  • Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Delays due to couriers, customs, or force majeure are not our liability beyond what the law requires.
  • Risk passes to you upon delivery. Please inspect packages on receipt and report damage/missing items within 48 hours.

8. Digital Products – License & Use

Instant-download products are delivered electronically; no physical item is shipped. Unless stated otherwise on the product page, you may:

  • Use the product for personal or commercial projects.

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or share the raw files as a standalone product.
  • Claim authorship or remove attribution where required.

We do not provide refunds for digital products once downloaded, except where required by law (e.g., defective file, wrong item delivered).

9. Reviews & Blog Content

  • Tech reviews and blog posts are based on our testing and research at the time of publication.
  • Content is for general information; it is not professional advice. You are responsible for your own decisions.

10. Warranties & Limitation of Liability

  • Hardware/appliances: Manufacturer warranties apply where provided. We assist with warranty claims as a reseller but are not the manufacturer.

Refund & Returns Policy (Linkima Tech)

This policy applies to purchases from Linkima Tech’s online store in South Africa and aligns with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) where applicable.

1. General Principles

  • We aim to resolve issues quickly and fairly.
  • Your statutory rights under the CPA are not limited by this policy.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

2. Hardware & Appliances (Physical Goods)

2.1 Change of Mind / Voluntary Returns

  • You may request a return within 7 days of delivery if the item is unused, in original packaging, with all accessories and proof of purchase.
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs unless we agree otherwise.
  • Upon inspection, we will issue a refund minus any restocking/shipping costs where permitted by law.

2.2 Defective, Damaged, or Wrong Items

  • Report within 48 hours of delivery for visible damage or wrong items.
  • For latent defects, report as soon as reasonably discovered.
  • We will, at our option and as required by law, repair, replace, or refund the item. We may require photos/videos and a brief description of the issue.
  • We cover reasonable return shipping for confirmed defects or our errors.

2.3 Warranty Claims

  • Manufacturer warranties apply where provided. We assist with claims as the reseller.
  • Warranty does not cover misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorized modifications.

3. Digital Products (Instant Downloads)

Due to the nature of digital goods, we do not offer refunds once the product has been downloaded or accessed, except where:

  • The file is defective, corrupted, or not as described.
  • You received the wrong product.

In such cases, contact us within 7 days with details and proof (e.g., screenshot, error message). We will replace, fix, or refund as appropriate.

If you have not yet downloaded the product, you may request a cancellation/refund before access is granted.
